I don't want to start a flame war so I won't reply any further to this thread but... basically Flash is a program that's good if ur dealing with vector graphics. Yes... Flash can be used to do gif animation but there are a lot of things that Flash cannot do properly with gif. What if you want to make an animation where the source is not from Flash? This Flash praising has got to stop somewhere... this is the single most ridiculous statement about Flash that I have heard!!
