Heh, so many post, I didn't visit here for quite a while. What I mean by 10% is by the number of visitors not by the google page impression. If my CTR is 10% I will quite my job right now.

My ctr is just slightly above 1% and number of click I received is about 10% from daily unique visitors.

About the colour ads, I would prefer an ads that matching my website colour scheme. The reason is simple, when people know its an ads they won't click on it because that will make you rich. But if you make it looks like part of your site, they will click it..this is from my experience. Just check out my site to see what I mean.

But you have to use different approach for a different site, I have try all type of and size of ads but the best for me is the banner box that I put above the text links. (like my download section)
