CPanel & DirectAdmin are very user-friendly. Close half of your eye and you'll know how to create your own email/ftp/subdomain/add-on etc. Fantastico install scripts with a click away.
For feature-rich control panel, I'll go for CPanel. I couldn't find any disadvantage of Cpanel if compared to many other controller
I have the feeling CPanel is better than DA counting the 'icons' available in CPanel & DA
