first of all, what do u mean by
text poll/voting system?
anyway, if u mean the normal ones; have you tried sourceforge.net? go to this url:
http://sourceforge.net/search/, type "php poll" in the search field, don't forget to check 'all words', very important... n choose the ones with the higher activity percentile, they're most probably better and more stable.
