I am wondering - i'm supposed to port my current web application to make it accesible under a wap phone, so i need to ask - can wap support colored images?

as far as i know, wap only supports WBMP, which is a 2-bit bitmap (black + white). Anybody knows of a colored wbmp? and how many phones support it?

any issues should i look out for when porting my web app over?
