Some explanation. When I said pricing trick, I dont mean something illegal, more of a marketing gimmick. I think I've contributed alot towards lowering Exabytes' cost per click in Google Adwords. Many times I've click on the "RM149 Malaysian Hosting" only to discover that it's 2years x RM149.

Having said that I think this could be a good idea for other hosting as well. It makes your service seem less pricey.

Another idea for hosting companies. You can try sending out greeting emails to make customers feel appreciated. Exabytes sends out Happy Mooncake Festival emails! If I was their customer I'll have this warm and cozy feeling.

fahmishah: yes i agree, it's not possible to find the perfect hosting, every host has weakness etc. This post is about my thoughts, maybe later I'll open another thread about my quest for perfect the host.
