It is depend on your website auditions. If majority are from Malaysia (using streamyx) then a local server would be a plus. Because if you put offshore server, the posibility that streamyx line slow to the offshore server are quite high especially during peak hours.

However, if you are looking for international traffic, then non local server is a better choice. Because the network quality and hardware are much more better.
