i guess that the way human have been brought up for the last few decades... even mindset play a role, proper planning from the public transports authority is indeed needed. To really solve this major issue, cooperation between the two is required.

lets take a look to our closed neigbour, singapore for instance, cars is really meant for the rich... as for the not so rich... they are not considered poor and they rather use public transport coz its been well layout. One of my biz partner in sg. told me that he rather take the train than drive to office / meeting as it cost lesser and their public transport are reliable and predictable (in time).

eemmm... not to offend anyone here... but i just couldn't stop myself to say this "walk your talk", just find one fine day and try taking buses to office in the rush hour time....

for me.. i guess i'm blessed coz i got an understanding boz that allow me to be in the office before 10 and leave at 7 so that i can skip part of the jam and i appreciate that alot. For those whom really have a flexible time/work at home... you are blessed and enjoy it please.

ahh.... here's come another crazy idea.. maybe this could work for while if the gov. enforce all company in the city center to have a flexible working start time like... 7am, 8am, 9am, 10am.. then we can reduce quarter of congestions... just an idea though
