MyBlogLog is a good widget to be added into your sidebar, it shows you the visitors that are coming to your blog.
A top commentator widget perhaps and a widget on your blog's popular posts. These are plugins which you can find from Wordpress database. For the popular posts, it the popularity Contest plugin.
Other than these, maybe you can add in a Random Blogroll by goldfries. I have all of these in my site though.
