(psst. I sell names, including as Godaddy's reseller, sometimes cheaper than godaddy! eg. currently $6.95 vs. $9.99 for .com and $1.99 vs. $2.95 for .info. Definitely cheaper for .net, .us and .in too)
.my names are not open for entities without Malaysia base operation at the moment. It's sole registry-registrar, myNIC however hinted earlier this month on the possibility to opening it up to outside registrants similar to .ws/cc/tv/md etc if there are demands and if justifiable to the locals.
