I currently hosted my site in a server in US and would like to migrate into Malaysia seerver because lately my site always down. Maybe the server got problems and had to restart.

But before I decided to do the migration, I asked my hosting provider (a Malaysian hosting provider) about the migration process and I also told them about the problem with with my website. They said that Malaysia servers are better than US. Is it true? But why?
