okie... since you ask for comments and suggestion....i'm going to be extremely honest with you, to my standards the layout is not good and not sweet either...
Things i don't like:-
header too big and taken half of 800px screen height. those still using 800x600 screens user will have hard time....
too plain on the header image..... too much white spaces..
solid black for sidebar look dull...
font type and color for title make it hard to read...
font color on the footer are hard to read...
need better placement of text in the footer...
not much of color contrast make the whole site look dull and pale...
do nicer one next time round.....
