You are trying to remove "index.php" from the URL. But that is not the way wordpress works. You can add a Wordpress Plugin that will convert the Unfriendly URLs to SEF (Search Engine Friendly) URLs. A good plugin will allow you to modify the URL path, but since you are a beginner, I would not do so until you become more familiar with Wordpress.

Sometimes you can modify the URL paths by doing a custom install. However, XAMPP is for beginners that do not have the knowledge to do custom installs.
