Well, I believe the server your site is allocated are too crammed, and the server load is quite high...
BTW, most people think that site hosted by datacenters in Malaysia are much faster to load compared to the US. But actually the difference is minimal. The main difference is the server itself. Besides, your host does have server at Texas as well.
