I apologise if this is the wrong place for this topic, but I just got to inform all Malaysians about this yucky incident that happened to my family and I.

Contaminated Condensed Sweet Milk – Tea Pot brand from F&N Dairies (M) Sdn Bhd & Nestle

On the 20th March 2008 (Thursday evening), my wife opened a tin can of TEA POT condensed sweet milk to make 2 cup of coffee for my son and I. Usually she makes two holes at each end of the tin can “top” and subsequently let the milk flow into a glass jar. After a while, she ran out from the kitchen screaming and it was shocking to see a black object flowing out from the milk tin can into the glass jar. It looks like a discomposed something in black. This black item could be toxin. Luckily we didn’t consume the milk. Probably if we had, my son and I would be in hospital right now. I have contacted the people of F&N Dairies through 1-800-88-0103 and they informed that a sales person would visit us on Friday 21st March 2008 to see to this incident but they didn’t turn up. Subsequently, I contacted them today (Monday) and they send a salesman to visit us. What does a salesman know about this stuff? It should at least be one senior management with their chemist. The shocking thing is that the salesman came with 6 more new tin-cans of milk to give us as replacement or maybe to make us happy. He also requested for the contaminated milk and tin-can to be taken back to their factory for rectification, which we objected. Anyway, we’re going to the ministry of health tomorrow to find out more in detail. Frankly, I feel very disappointed on how F&N handled this issue. To them it’s just a minor issue and they personally informed me that their senior management or MD doesn’t get involve in minor cases. Moreover, I wasn’t allowed to communicate with their MD or Senior Management. It is worst than setting an appointment with the president of USA. So that’s why I am exposing it to all Malaysians. Look at the pictures and you decide if this item is minor. To me it’s not because it’s harmful to a human body. Make sure when you order your teh-tarik the condensed milk is not TEA POT.
