Some general tips here for bloggers/webmasters/advertisers/banner designers/marketers/adwords writers... heck, just abt evryone.

The title of ur latest post is:
"Search Engine Optimization (SEO) introduction"

How about:
"Discover The Secret To Amazing Web Traffic: Search Engine Optimization"

Or

"The Secret To Guaranteed Flow Of Web Visitors"

let's just say that all 3 above are titles to the SAME content... which version will be read most?

--------------------------------------------
Here's a quote from David Ogilvy: On the average, five times as many people read the headline as read the body copy.

That's the power of headlines/titles... if your headline/title does not shock/attract/arouse interest... you've wasted your body/ad text.

On the average a new visitor takes just a few seconds to decide to stay or leave ur site... most of the few seconds are spent scanning headlines.... u need to have the titles or headlines to GRAB them (and promise something they cant resist).

Headline writing is an art form utilised by professional copywriters... it can be applied to the web easliy... for blog titles, web page headers, adwords, banners etc etc.

Learn the structure of effective attention-grabbing headlines and also those "power" words like Free, Discover, How-To, Shocking, Secrets, You, Guarantee, Rahsia, Gempar, Percuma ... etc etc.

PS:
It's a bit harder on the Internet as we need the headline/title/filename to do TWO things: to grab the attention of readers AND to have the right keywords for SEO ... but it can be done with a bit of creative thinking ... happy trying
