Any one use before Permalinks Moved Permanently Plugin before?

I am planning to change my Blog URL from hxxp://blog.icalvyn.com to hxxp://www.iCalvyn.com , since my MAIN URL having PR4 while sub domain having PR2 only.

any one use before this plugin? I worry this plugin will not direct my Search Engine Traffic to my blog after doing migration.
