several of my friends do it and they try YSM(Yahoo Search Marketing) and Adwords to promote their link for adsense and also for their affiliate.

But what I've heard from my friends that you must follow some technique there to make sure that that method will perfectly success or else..your money will gone..

erm..that technique..what they calling...aha..Arbitrage....I'm a student and don't have such starting money to do it..

this is an example one of my friend do it for adsense earning..and the result??wa..really good..two thumbs up..hahaha..please check it here

adwords doesn't allow affiliate url (e.g. somedomain.com/?id=????) and url cloacking and redirection....

i think you need to have your own landing page and then get the visitor to click on the links on that page....

Yup, there's is a technigue to really be successful in PPC marketing. Either you make or brake profits.

there are 2 major PPC marketing providers. Yahoo! Search Marketing and
Google Adwords. Even though both functions are the same, but the ranking
and bidding systems are not.

As of right now, I'm using Y!SM to market Affiliate products.

Besides from arbitrage (where you put the affiliate url directly in the adwords campaign) the preferred method is simply building top-knotch landing pages and direct adwords traffic to them.

Here in The Netherlands Google already changed the rules to stop arbitrage, from now on the 'shown' url must be the same as the 'hidden' url in adwords. This means Google will not show any ads anymore with different url's.

For example:

shown: www.xyz.com/product
hidden (real url) OpenDNS

This will not work anymore in the Netherlands, Google will simply not show these ads in the network anymore. Perhaps YSM still allows this...I do not work with Yahoo.

All affiliates I know and work with use the following method to boost sales (cps). The build a perfect and persuasive landing page, with just enough keywords to get a great (adwords) quality score. This way I pay <0,10 cents per click, but conversions are high due to a good landing page. I always use nofollow on the url's btw. Besides I also write nice advertorials every once a while. Those are great landing pages too. Sometimes they are so good, that I can cancel my adwords campaign on the keywords, because natural traffic becomes better then bought traffic..

Anyways, perfect ads, perfect quality score and persuasive landing pages will do the trick.....

houben77..you hit the nail on the coffin...you re damn right.
Most affiliates won't let you link directly anymore and they won't even let you bid on the keywords that they trademark.

Good job!!!

Adwords PPc

if you really want to use Adword for affiliate, make sure you choose the right keyword and do take care of your daily budget else it will burn your saving account.

i always use google adwords to promote my business. it's true that google want to change the policy on the display url for new ads starting in april 2008. but still it is a good source of traffic.i got 45 downlines in just 3 days spending about RM80 on google adwords.

there's a new local program teaching how to get money from cj. kit4u.net (if i was not mistaken). i wonder why there's not so much book about cj compare to clickbank.

It's true that you make money with money, but buring 1000$ in a week isn't that funny for an adwords beginner. I would always use a max budget a day. I you can reach it (depends on many other factors) in a good manner, you can always decide to raise the bar a bit.

The worst scenario are unlimited funds, and bad campaigns. There are professional companies that are proud that they get 100 kliks a day for 400$. That's 4 dollars a click. What I first want to know is what the smart adwords user is paying for that same click. If this is a mere 0.10 cents, then the company isn't doing a good job at all.

I use a max budget a day, simply because I don't want to get a heartattack after a week orso .....

Btw...tested a new landing page for my company (job vacancy), Quality Score is perfect...I entered a max per click of 1$....instead I pay 0.04 cents (thought the keywords aren't that well sought..)..
