We all know in the Internet, all are about marketing and when marketing is mention, banners will sure come into the big picture.

So wat i wanna ask is, how many varies sizes of ads banner had u come across so far? This could help ppl who want to do ads banner to promote their site and also can give an idea on those who want to re-design their blog interface

for me as i know so far the most common are:
468x60
728x90
160x300
120x600 / 120x400
300x250

lately i also notice the 125x125 and 200x125 ad size are getting more and more usage.

so, anymore banner sizes which u think is really common nowadays or getting popular?

i use some 200x200 and 180x200.
actually a like to play around with uncommon ads size coz nowadays ppl are getting very good in spotting those commonly used ads size and ignore them...

I think the best size is the medium rectangle (300 x 250). A lot of major media started to use it alot on their website.

Rectangle banner still the best.

don't use javascript but use CSS ..
