I open this thread for you to ask me anything about affiliate marketing, maybe some SEO. I try to answer according to my knowledge. If I don't know, I say I don't know.

But please don't ask about my bank book/statement/my check/my website. Fair enough.

Make your question simple and easy to understand for newbie to read.

Hi Jawa, can you take a look at my website and blog at:

Halaman utama - Teknologi-maklumat.com (click Halaman rawak in the left panel repeatedly to get a feel of the site)
Blog Ensiklokamus Blog Archive Membina laman sesawang berjuta dolar semasa berumur 17

this one should be kacang for you to answer.... which affiliate network that u joins and what sort of product you promote that have make u a fortune now?

Actually this is affliate marketing thread not website review thread. But anyway I try to give my comment in term of monetization.

-if you plan to make money from adsense - use English language because not many Malaysian advertise in Bahasa Malaysia.

- What is your blog theme? - information technology I guess. Is better for you to use wordpress instead of wiki because you can create a lot of category under information technology, and blog about it under their own category.

- In term of SEO - You need to rewrite your website title

In term of design, I cannot comment anything, because to monetize website is not about design. The main important thing is traffic and content not the website design..

Hi Jawa, thank you very much for your comments. My blog is actually using Wordpress! The theme is Aqueous-lite. Actually I don't plan to make any money from this website but merely want to increase the traffic. (I have an English language website where I had Adsense installed.) How should I go about rewriting my website title in terms of SEO?

Usually we targetting what keyword that we aim to get top ranking and has many searches per month. Example if I want to promote ringtones website, lets say my targetting keyword is " Download Ringtones", I will put my title as " Download Ringtones" and my domain maybe h**p://www.downloadringtones.com.
Then if I post "50 cent ringtone", that page of "50 cent ringtone" will get title as "50 cent ringtone - Download Ringtones". In this title, in term of SEO you are targetting a few keyword. Ex. "50 cent ringtone" "50 cent ringtones" 50 cent download ringtone" "50 cent download ringtones" " Download 50 cent ringtone" and so on. rewriting your title can get you many keyword that you can target in term of SEO.

Alamak! I just changed my website domain name from "e-komputer.info" to "teknologi-maklumat.com". Honestly, I begin this website as a hobby as I like writing and got interested in bahasa Melayu when I joined Wikipedia bahasa Melayu in 2005. I am now a certified translator with Institut Terjemahan Negara Malaysia (ITNM).

I am fascinated with information technology and am learning as I go along. As a matter of fact, whenever I want to know something, I will write about it in my website. Although the Mediawiki software is a community-collaboration software, I have not been able to get even one single contributor. Friends have tried to help out but they can't write in bahasa Melayu and so after one two attempts, they give up. Fortunately, I am an avid writer myself and this website can still survive, although the pace is slower than I would like it.

Nope. Never be. Blackhat will make you earn so much but when affiliate networks find out, you will ban by them and all earning will be forfeited. They also will look which country that particulars person coming from and if they got fed up with this country they will ban the whole country.

So beware of your actions.

As Malay proverb said: "Kerana nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga".

As for me, I'm only promoted using Adwords and YSM. No SEO cause pay per click is the fastest traffic generation. You can make money as fast as one day. If your niche is not profitable, you can dump it as soon as possible. So no need to wait until one year...
