DasBlog is an asp.net blogging engine that uses an XML backend rather than a database.

I would suggest WordPress.org. I am a novice programmer, but it took me less than 1 day to figure which is which and what is what. Unlike Joomla, which took quite some time.

The best thing about WP is the theme. There are so many themes out there to choose from. I have customised mine, you can have a look at Noktah Hitam

another blog engine to note : movable type. Its quite good but lack of theme.

by the way, some of the programmer who more knowledge in ASP and would like to have a blog are recomemded to Dasblog...

at least may contribute some thing for dasblog community. such as create more plugin~

Running an ASP server for free? I dont think so. At least last I checked.

If ASP server cant be run for free, there is very little localhost then, which in time, no contribution from opensource enviroment.

WP is quite stable. Never had a go at Dasblog. From the site it looks great.

dude... the software need to paid, but not us, is exabytes paid~ but they provide free windows webhosting for us to testing~
