before you kick off your forums, you should do lots of preparation works such as getting loads of information about the topics you need to talk about in the forum
would be good if you have a website about the niche so that you could attract peoples to join in into your forum. Also, get in touch a lot with those peoples which has the interest in your topics so that you could drag them into ur forum.
forum are harder to get traffic especially getting people to return compared to a blog or website
