im currently making a blog through wordpress platform...

but i dunno how to upload to FTP.

Help and any recommendation?

first, you need to have ftp account. then need to install ftp client, eg: OpenDNS. after upload all wordpress files to your server.

use filezilla. Its the best open source ftp software.

First you need ftp address eg. Noktah Hitam
the you need >user
then password >password

upon login in, you will see a file called public_html. Upload you html files into that directory. Its a drag and drop mechanism. You cant go wrong. One youve upload, go to your fav browser, open your web address, eg. Noktah Hitam

ftp.yourdomain.com
depend on your web server sometimes you need password to login to your ftp.

then all you have to find is the ftp software to upload your file.
I think there is a lot out there on the net.

for me, i like smartFTP the most although its not free but you can use it although after the trial days expired.

i think you need to clarify if you are using your own domain of using wordpress.com

wordpress.com does not support ftp program as far as I know

if you have intention to get your own domain. It is usually ftp.yourdomain.com
connect and upload your website to public_html or "yourdomain.com" folder.

What is the webhosting service you are using. If you are using something like hostgator. That's a way you can install wordpress without uploading or downloading anything. It's free.
