StumbleUpon gives me the best result: 524 hits. Reddit, 38. The rest a bit here a bit there add up less than 50, LOL. Nothing to shout about. I understand you need very catchy titles to attract attention. Also, I believe the time of the day you post plays a very important part. As you know, posting in social networks is like roti, last only a few days... in this case, worst, only a few hours. After that, not much results, if any. So you should not post while all of them are sleeping, hehehe. Don't forget the time difference. My first attempt at 5 am on a Wednesday morning gave me the best results. I tried two times at 6 am and it was not as good as 5 am, or was it the topic? Generally, weekends are bad for me but surprising I had one of the best traffic last Sunday. Still blinking, just can't figure out why, LOL.

I stumble my topic at nite, about 11pm, with little stumble exchange trick, bring me about 600 to 800 hit, i never do at 5am before.

I eastimated 11pm should be their morning 8 to 9am, every one come to working already...

Most europe people like snaking "ular" at office one, they just stumble , that why week end no traffic, no working ma. all back home take care anak anak...

Hi Calvynlee, I finally managed to achieve what you had achieved with my latest blog article, Lifting the Veil of Conspiracy on Sun Tzu’s Art of War.

I missed the 11 pm slot because I couldn't get the title of the article right. First I got http: //dummipedia.org/wordpress/?p=28 as the title and even now, I still can't and it says "Blogging Dummipedia & Blogging Archive & Lifting the Veil of Conspiracy on Sun Tzu’s Art of War".

After giving up and thinking of posting the next day at 11 pm, I decided to go ahead and post and it was already 3 am. Traffic was slow even by 7.30 am. But when I return home at 2.30 pm, I saw that traffic had hit around 450 and within the first 24 hours, had hit 706. Now total traffic for that one article as at 5 am in the morning (50 hours after posting) is 1,232, my highest so far and almost all from StumbleUpon. I submitted my article to Digg one day after StumbleUpon but they have not sent me any traffic yet since the last 30 hours.

Calvynlee, care to share your little StumbleUpon exchange trick? I sure can use that to improve my future traffic. As it is, I still haven't got a handle on how to use StumbleUpon effectively.

4,000 and Exabytes server suspend your website? That is just terrible. Guess they don't want any of their customers to have good traffic, LOL.

To me.. Digg has lost its originality, i mean Kevin Rose said that Digg was designed for the geeky PC freak..
and now it has turned into a total culture based social news site..
not much technological articles were dugg and made to the front page...

Digg did not bring me traffic, but i saw some article writing on the benefit on digg.

Some time when we search some info via google, digg website appear instead of the website appear on top, indirectly the website consider have high rank in search result.

This is the reason i submit to digg.com, i wish can bring me traffic via SE
