Recently the politician and also government realize the power of blog, and each of them start to involve in blogging.

1 thing i would like to know ur opinion,

As a politician like them, does they suppose to be more professional instead of using free blogging platform or subdomain like blospot.com and wordpress.com?

even have a domain, do you think they should go for self hosted blogging platform?

I think they should take the more proffesional route as this gives the people a good impressions as well as to show their initiative in getting near to netizens and not by using free services which to me is considered "cheap" as they are high profile VIPs and should be able to afford these things.

they super good in politics but just not that IT savy... maybe they trusted the wrong IT ppl to do their blogs lor....

And paid a sum of money to get some free services.

for me i think as long as they r using their own domain its fine...

somehow, the best Wordpress blog platform is just TOO COMPLICATED for them.
blogger.com / blogspot was easier to be learn.

Why not? And they should certainly use whatever's the most popular / reliable blog host. Own domain name not really necessary, and if they have to have one, not a .com, unless they're selling signed photos or the shirt they were wearing when they did something historic. Any blogging politicians using .net, .org or .info?

I do agree with you, using blogspot sound like novice, and some more dr.M are "father of technology" and he is so out "NOVICE" with using blospot
