Thread: What Is Your Favourite Wordpress Theme?

There is no doubt that wordpress is one of our favourite blogging software. And there are soso many themes to choose from, mostly from: http://themes.wordpress.net/

So what is your favourite wordpress theme?

It is too many great template out there. But if you managed to design own template, it would be more perfect.

I use my own customize cms... so, no favourite theme for my selection

i almost use free theme, but then modify here, modify there bla bla..

yerp...download a sample theme..then.modify it..css . php .bla bla bla and GFX

a software to build theme .. (i found smf forum skin generator).
something similiar like that? at least to fasten up us making a wp theme

There is one, but need to purchase it. Dont know the software interface also.
Try to download the wordpress sandbox template. Then modify from there. It;s easier than coding from scratch.

I normally build the custom theme from simpla templates. With few files and minimalized code, it's pretty easy to do so.

The other option would be converting the open source web templates to wordpress template by adding the tags.

I like the three column themes since they server to make Word Press look much like a CMS instead of a blog.

Speaking of CMS similarity, this TIGA theme looks exactly like the CMS. One of my favourite theme too:

Its hard if you dont know CSS and PHP, you cannot code themes and the only reason (at least 90%) of the time why other people release free themes is because they want get backlinks to their site/blog.

Some naughty people make hidden backlinks in their WordPress theme hoping to get extra backlinks. And the users of those theme will get penalized by Google because the Google bot can see the hidden links easily. And maybe the makers also.

I would love to know what is good software to scan our themes and point out these hidden backlinks so we can remove them, also to help us make themes. 1 backlink at the footer is good enough but some people are greedy...

There is just so little time to learn coding for those of us part timers...ahh..
