The uprising of PayPerPost sure stirs a lot of controversy as well as giving a real solid earning opportunities for bloggers with low traffic.

John Chow said PayPerPost is the best ad network for bloggers, and supported his claim that use PPP (PayPerPost) for low traffic blog gets up to $270 per eCPM. More here.

However, Jason Calanicas (the one that founded weblog inc.), said that, using PayPerPost will make your site loose your credibility and get booted out from Google.

I on the other hand, think it's a great opportunity for a blogger to earn some income, but the advertiser would have to becareful as they would spend their money on some blogs that have little or no traffic.

What do you think?

Actually i was planning to exercise this PPP thing before but it's not for blog but rather the forum i was having. We were actually moving from a yahoogroup to our own php-based forum website. So, each post (that meets requirements) get credits and money.

The reason why we're doing this is to encourage more active participation from the members, especially when it is a new forum. However, more than 50% don't like it and prefers it to be free while the rest was excited to it.

Well, we're still discussing but there's a possibility we may scrap the whole idea.

hmmm.... a lot of this programs nowadays that I don't know which one would be better. so anyone earning from this pay per post so far?

I agree that PayPerPost is a good income source, but it would make bloggers loose credibility, since blogs are supposed to be unbiassed postings. With PPP, a blogger can no longer be unbiassed in reviewing a product, service, etc.

Actually, there are many more ways to make money with a blog. There's too many ways to list here, so I'll probably write an article on that and post it later on on my site.

Not for me. But I guess Louisss (blogging secret) is doing fine on PPP.

Walau...erm...I get paid lo, sell link no body want, what should i do? Cari makan la, If you think who is make the most money from PPP, then 5xmom.com(penang mom) . List in top 5 PPP. she is now make about 5k usd! So what do you think about it? In 3 months you can get 5k x 3.5=?????, what you wanna do?

Just a question about PPP, must our blog have a certain traffic or PR in order to get approved because it doesnt say so, but I heard that they check your PR/traffic/links.

ur blog need to be existed for over 90 days active to be approved. traffic/pr/ranking will help you get more opportunities to post. higher pr would get higher $$$ offer

I just made a couple of post on PPP recently and no doubt it was easy money. But you sure would loose some of your blog credibility as you are posting something which may not be relevant to your blog.

but there no harm to make afew post each month to get some money to pay yur bill but if you want to make big bucks out of PPP, just look at how 5xmom maintain her blogs... its hard!

yup, 5xmon is list in top, today i saw the earning was 9k++USD...i think should be monthly...

sad..my blog not yet 90days...get rejected...
