Hi all,

I own a domain name and I'm using it for my blog hosted on Blogger. I've been using it for almost a month now and didn't have any problem at all until two days ago. i was told that tmnet dns is the problem by serverfreak's Sam and that caused my site to be unaccessible via my domain name (steventsh.com) since two nights ago. After serverfreak changed my domain's dns to other service few hours ago, my visitors can still not
access to my site.

However, I'm able to gain access into my own site because I'm using OpenDNS instead of the Streamyx
DNS.

Any idea how this happeend and how can this be resolved?
I'm getting desperate and sick of this. Please advise.

did you add the CNAME correctly? ghs.google.com.

Sorry, I deleted the CNAME record pointing at ghs.google.com last night because I thought of re-creating it again when the DNS problem is resolved. It is successfully configured but still the problem is around.

I received an email from another web-host telling me that it's TMnet's problem. I'll paste the content of the mail here:

We believe, there are some of you who use TMNet or Celcom as your ISP (Streamyx,1515,celcom,1525,etc..) are facing problems to access your website.

FYI, all of our servers are in good condition and 100% fully online, HOWEVER, the access to domain's control panel (registrar's server), cannot be accessed using ISP from TMNet Group. This problem has caused some of the domains to be inaccessible due to registrar server's access failure.

FYI again, we ourself are using Streamyx and for the time being, we CANNOT activate new domain, renew existing domain, or manage any domain related task. Thr url for us to manage the domain is : Welcome

We have investigated and found out that all other web hosting who are using xxx.myorderbox.com are not able to open with ISP from TMNet Group too.

You can use alternative website (3rd party) to check your domain status (Domain Tools: Whois Lookup and Domain Suggestions).

You can always login into your server using IP.

Since this is an ISP problem, there is not much we can do/help, other than asking them to fix their problem ASAP.

We will update any progress from time to time.

This is the reply i get after complaining at www.TMOnline.com.my.
It still doesn't work. But using OpenDNS works.
Checking out zoneedit . com now which has FREE Managed DNS (read from another thread). What other DNS service you using?

We refer to your query on Streamyx connection issue, we are sincerely apologise for the inconveniences caused. However, we would like to reconfirm with some troubleshooting in order for us to streamline the issue that you are facing currently.

1) Clear Browser Cache.

2) Create new dialer, flush and reconfigure DNS (Domain Name Server).
- (Preferred DNS Server: 202.188.0.133/Alternate DNS Server: 202.188.1.5)

3) Reboot computer and modem.

4) Try to connect and browse with 3 different IP address.
- (Switch off and switch on the modem to get different IP address each time).

5) Disable a temporary firewall.

6) Use another browser (if any).

7) Kindly check browser and make sure it set as "Lower security".

We would appreciate if you may ping the website while using our DNS and attach the pinging result to us for investigation.

Alternatively, you can contact our Technical Department at 100 and select "Internet Services" if you need further assistance on the troubleshooting above and if the problem still persists, please provide us the following details for further action.

strange.. but i don't see how TM net is related to your domain name DNS unless you are hosting your own server at home where u point your domain to your own server and you adjust the DNS inside your server.. if that is the case.

adding CNAME directly should work, otherwise it could be the DNS service failure.

Non Streamyx users can access those websites which Streamyx users cannot.

It's only Streamyx users who use default Streamyx DNS. This Streamyx DNS is the problem because when using OpenDNS doesn't have the problem.

TM DNS Admin has flushed the servers so this problem is now fix.
