Indeed, $6.99/year from OnlineNIC is cheap. But that is only for gTLD (.com, .net, .org) And the most significant difference between an eNom & OnlineNIC price is at below:

That is not true. It depends on where you hunt for them. Hint: You can get one at eBay I have seen one in eBay for only US$200 from a good seller (Zoltan).

Normally when the domain a customer wanted is sold in gTLD, they'll try biz/us/info. Meanwhile, biz is getting more and more popular these days.

Anyways, the catch is, unless you have RM2K+ (US$669) to throw into OnlineNIC to enjoy the best discounted price or else I would say eNom is still the best.
