mydomain.com hosted at Site A
sub1.mydomain.com hosted at Site A
sub2.mydomain.com hosted at Site B

Is it possible? By modifying DNS record? Advice please. Thank you.

from my point of view it is not possible because you cannot maintain one domain name at two diff servers.

you may want to check probability using cname or A entry

you can use php script to cloak the other subdomain
so it carries the same url..

I am thinking to set sub2.mydomain.com DNS zone in SiteA and point to SiteB IP...

Yes that one is possible

okay since you are using cpanel server

example domain
edit dns lcf.com

add item subdomain1 A entry 22.22.2.22 (server B's IP)

Go to server b... add domain lcf inside WHM (no need to change dns - this merely creating an entry in apache)

log in using http://serverip/cpanel at server b
add >
subdomain1.lcf.com under lcf.com in adding subdomain section



ping subdomain1.lcf.com
should point to server b ip

now type http://subdomain1.lcf.com

if you have no cpanel you have to edit http.conf

another alternative is to get managed dns from your registrar.
and can be done inside the cp itself
