Namecheap is $7.99, with the coupon code "Yaffaspecial", and free whois privacy. I have 30 domains with them.

Domainsite is cheaper $6.99, but too bad no whois privacy, i registered once with them and they are fine too. The cheapest I find with 'no catch at all'.

Netkl's domain only RM33/yr.. I think Malaysian companies all offer around RM35/yr.. But I saw some with RM50/yr (forgot what company liao).

Anyone tried yahoo domains? I saw their ad, first year cost only $1.99 @.@
it's dirt cheap man!

dotster.com offering 1USD one domain per account. I've been buying with them, so far is OK but the load of cp is bit slow. They dont offer free-whois service like others.

BTW, you can onlky use one time the coupons even you register a new account but you may skip it by using a new credit card.

once i tried to goto yahoo's small business site directly i get the normal price display but whenever i click through the link in their promotion email, it's the less than 2 dollars price. i think even if you can't transfer after the first year (i didn't see anything like that in their terms and conditions though), the total for two years is still cheaper than most registrars.

currently i have all except one of my domain names registered at dynadot, 7.99 for domain name, and $2.00 for privacy protection, please note that their privacy protection only hides your contact info, it doesn't hide your name.

i hv try to buy from yahoo, but it too troblesome, it need alot information from the credit card holder. name, fon, address and some more nick name... but after i put all, it prompt out " information not match with bank record" so at last i didn manage to buy...

hi,
i am still new in buying domain.if i buy a damain and plan to resell to other or wait for other to buy my domain, "whois privacy" are not so important ist?

example:
a company name "COMPANY" and they do not have domain yet, and i can see that "www.company.com" still available. after i buy this domain, if i am using whois privacy, they shuld not know who am i rite...if i not using, are they able to contact me when they want to buy from me?

any one can help to explaine?

Any email that send to the encrypted email address of your private WHOIS, will be redirected to your personal email address

The settings can be shown in your namecheap control panel (assumming you purchased your domain name from namecheap).

Furthermore, if you are selling your domain names, you can easily put your domain names for sale in namecheap's marketplace with a few clicks.

It doesnt make sense here. What's the different between other company? Mostly what I've seen and experience for local hosting package is, eventhough you are signing up for a hosting package with them or not, the domain price for a year still a fixed price. All of you guys use resseler registrar right? eg enom.com etc... Care to explain?

is a Domain register company, it provide 5.99USD for .com domain and free also Private Domain Registration
do this sound worth?
