Dot Com OR Dot Net? Please HELP!!!
If i wanna buy a domain for blogging, which one is the best? .com or .net? I need some help here!thanks!

.com is the most prefered but .net is also good if you cannot get the .com
just make sure the domain name is good and avoid using hyphen "-"

1 - 7 is for dot com

First .com then follow by .net. and maybe .mobi for future trend (My prediction).

the way i see.. .com or .net doesn't really matter at all...
it's they way you promote your website and the quality of your contents that help to built loyal visitors... example... lets say i use a domain called "money4free4ever.somedomain12345.net" and i really give away $1 paypal money to all my visitor everyday when they visit my website... for sure they will remember that domain no matter what, either by bookmark, memorize or write down somewhere...

yeah, the success of your website is depends on all the works and effort done to promote it. though having an easy to remember domain may help come people to access your site easily but most visitors comes from links or bookmarks

Any suggest to purchase the domain? Which company is the best? I check namecheap.com is 8.99! Domainsite.com 7.99 but not whois privacy....anyone suggest please...Reply ASAP!!!!

well, delicio.us works wonder without having to be a dotcom...
traffic to blogs would ideally rely mostly on web links, ie. referrals from other sites or search engines, so, it won't really matter which TLD you use, or how long your keyword is. your content (and design) would be more important, i suppose or people won't visit the site anyway. hardly that people advertise blog URLs anyway, since your audience would be surfers, not application users. even blogs buried under blogspot, friendster or myspace would get considerable traffic without own domain... having your own domain however help if you want your blog to be independent, especially if you're spreading ideals or political messages. just my 2-cent.

COM - means COMMERCIAL - almost all major businesses use .com whereas NERT means NETWORK since you are asking the question - GET BOTH - solve the problem after all most domain names are below RM 30.00 or even cheaper
