Currently my friend had a domain which in "Status: Protected" by his service provider. The domain was locked by a reseller under webnic.cc. But that reseller is not active anymore, even their own domain was expired. But luckly the Registrant Contact and Admin contact still under my friend email.

I had go thru webnic.cc website but didnt found any info (not even a email, OMG) about this case.

Email their support (support@webnic.cc, if i'm not mistaken) using the email address of the administrative contact of the domain.

Explain your situation and ask them to unlock your domain

hmm... tough now to transfer away domain with registrar-issued secret code even if the registrant has valid email address. there are pros n cons of course with regards to this security measure...

anyway, the registrar's support should be able to assist rightful registrant...
