Multiple domain names sharing the same web hosting account, possible?

Is it possible that multiple domain names shares the same web hosting account?
i.e. you have multiple domain names, .e.g. a.com and b.com use/share the same web hosting account.

If possible, how to do so?

if u want to do that, you have to make sure that u hosting provider allow u to do that. how to know that?? if u want to buy a new hosting, look at their plan ..search for add-on domain..let say, cgyhost.net allow 3 add-ons domains for their LIN02ST package..that mean, u can using 3 domains name under one account.

or, u can check from ur control panel. if u're using cPanel, search for add-on domain at the general account information box..

is it clear??

Yes you can do it.
Just click the "Addon Domain" in the cPanel, but make sure the domain you have point to the hosting server correctly before you make so.

Depends on the web hosting provider
for example, my web hosting offers unlimited domains..
which means I can add as many domains I want under the same account..
currently I have only 2 atm

Yes, there are different methods. But it all depends on your own specific hosting provider's policy. As you can see above there are from 3 to unlimited options from different hosting companies.

If you have a need, best to check with your provider. In some cases, if you are a good customer and been with them for awhile, they may make an adjustment just for you.
