all online payment processor charge a certain amount of transaction fees. this is usually around 3-5 % per transaction amount and varies among each processor. So far i haven't come around one that offer free service.

Paypal is one of the most trusted payment processor around. Of coz there a few local processor around but their fees are much higher...
if paypal is considered expensive to you... i guess no other payment processor will suit you....

Selling online is about convinience and fast... if you saw something you like you can straight away buy using credit card.

The main reason you wanted to buy online is you don't want to leave your house for a certain thing. Let say the online site ask you to place order and go to the bank to bank in the money... isn't it better for you go go directly to the normal retail shop and buy it there???

For seller point of view, there less work to be done coz you don't have to wait for customer to bank-in the money. If the customer don't bank in the money, then you need to call for the payment.. isn't this unnecessary work???

With credit card you can know tat the money is in instantly and you can start packaging and send the items to the purchaser.

this one you need to ask paypal for it... if i'm not wrong, malaysia is one of the country that rated high is credit card fraud especially in the past few years.

Talking about paypal, actually there is a way for us as Malaysians to withdraw the money through the local banks. They are quite a number of Malaysians who wrote the guide on withdrawing paypal money, you just have to look for it.

p/s: It's been many soo many months since I am away from this forum.

I'm back now!

basically...as at this point you still can not withdraw your paypal money directly to your local bank. Its only allow a US bank if you are registered as a malaysia account.

The way others do is to go through a third party services like international debit card or US bank with visa card facilities. This have been disccussed many time in this or other forum. Just search for the keyword "Accent card, vim card, etrade" and you will find quite a handfull info on this...

anyway... i heard some rumours that says paypal will open it facilities here sometimes in end of years.. hope this is true.

ya... i also wondering wat happen to your paypal acc entrepreneur8...
normally paypal won't freeze an account unless your nature of biz is somehow in conflict/violated their services...

2 of my customer have been using paypal for more than a year now and its working fine for them. They have no major trouble so far except the time when Paypal ask them to fax over their utilities bils for double confirmation of thier identity. after they fax it over, thing was fine with their acc till now. I guess this happen with one of our members here also by the is of louiss...

Hey Guy!

You can try 2CheckOut.com, although you have to pay the setup fee and transaction charge is higher, but it is quite useful for Malaysia. When you request to withdrawn your money, they will send a cheque to your house or office for you.

Check out iPay88 : Malaysia Online / Internet Payment Gateway - a malaysia payment provider which provide Credit Card, M2U, RHB Online, HL Bank Online, AMBank, Alliance, FPX, Mobile Money and Pospay. Rate wise cheaper compare to Paypal (will cost around 5-9% after currency conversion and they are very strict if your customer lodge complaint to them ... your money will be stuck with them for few months.)

Withdraw Paypal For Non US-Citizens

Hi,

There're some methods I know to cashout Paypal funds for non US.

Open US bank account can be a good methods. we need to fill some forms. If you know the trick, you do not need to deposit $1000 to have the VISA ATM card. Just with $5-$10 you already have the ATM card. How much the ATM withdrawal fee, set-up fee, monthly fee, etc.

For further information, visit :
www(dot)easywithdrawpaypal(dot)com

If you ever know about virtual offices, in there you'll also see some virtual office including their features such as annual fee, set-up fee, ATM withdrawal fee, etc. So you can compare by yourself and only choose the one that fit you best.

You can compare some debit cards too, because all of each debit card's feature are already there, one by one.
