How can I accept credit card payments (or any alternative online payment method) without setting up a merchant account???

Is it possible to open a Singapore bank account to accept PayPal payments since they don't service Malaysia ???

anway .. you can ask ur cient to send u a check .. most local bank
accept US check.

Emetrix actually charges commission of US3 or %15-20 of the sales (whichever is higher) - kinda of high but it's the best I've seen so far.

My hosting account control panel have an option to make a protected folder with SSL. The URL format also start with https://...... Can I accept credit card with this option? I have found some scripts that can make a shopping cart and credit card verifier on our website. Is it useful to me?

From my understanding there are two types of option for payment gateway if you are in malaysia

1) local payment gateway & merchant account
Very troublesome, add up around 10% transaction commision charged on each transaction. Also, applying time very difficult.

2) Foreign payment processor company
Mainly one contact point, they handle everything from bank to credit card system. overall around 5% only. But setback is you can only collect money after 4 weeks.

You need a credit card from singapore, not really a bank account.

or you can try a third party CC processor like 2checkout.com and paysystems.com the second one is recommeded, but 2checkout also improving now.
