Hi boys and gals, got a quick question for you all. My friend wrote a (paper) book and he is thinking of starting to sell online. Need your advice on the best thing to do and how much you will charge. Since I'm not familiar with setting up shopping carts I may need to pay one of you to do it.

My questions:

* How simple is it to set up OS Commerce or Zen Cart?
* Can a newbie like me do it?
* How much will you charge to set up one of the above with iPay88?
* How long will it take?

da hard part is create a new payment module for iPay88 or wait for contribution from other users..

U can leave da setup & hosting part for developer who help U on da payment module

its about money transaction, need more time on testing & debug so it cant b ready in short time

mayb U cld take a look at SEO Shopping Cart eCommerce Software, Online Store & E-catalog Solution, they hv a shopping cart supportin iPay88 & others however not cheap

anyway he is just sellin a single book wrote by himself or a book store? If it so y not just create an account from free online shopping service such as lelong?

i paid RM999 to get my e-commerce website up... its inclusive of domain name, hosting, website template and iPay88 registration... the website seller also charge me additional RM200 to do the iPay88 integration with my ZanCart ...

its normal for new vendors to offer rock bottom pricing.. its called market penetration pricing.. but price undercutting will kill the industry in the long run. and in the end only the established business can win the price war as they have the resources to sustain losses much longer than newbies... just my 2 cent

My objective is to help peoples to involve with Internet business with the low turnkey cost.. and to create and deploy as much as possible.

I'm not to spoil but to burst the market actually and to ensure more people will interested with selling their product through Internet and hopefullly our Malaysian will become as US,Uk,Canada and etc where e-commerce is their live. As what I told early, this cheapest price only for promotion... its special for my first 100 customers.. you all dun worry lor.. I will increase the price from time to time.
