E-Commerce
E-Commerce is getting famous and use widely in now a day. I am feel interested of e-commerce like how to start with e-commerce, how to make it more secure in term of payment, how to make it work, is it widely use in Malaysia? Hope can get advise and opinion from professional guy like you all.

althou ecommerce has been around in Malaysia since the mid-90, it is still in its infancy stages even today...
Compared to other countries like Hong Kong and Europe, we have a lot of catching up to do.. The Malaysian broadband infrastructure also leaves much to b desired. Broadband access is critical for the growth of e-commerce here. If u set up an online retail store, u will want to put many pictures of ur product for ur customers to see... If u’re using dial-up, these pictures will take too long to load n that would make it less convenient to shop online...Sadly said, Malaysian websites hosted locally r at least 70% slower than other websites around the world. It’ll b hard for us to compete with other e-commerce sites on a global level if our pages take too long too load... The fastest site is Blooming.com.my – it takes an average of 1.7 seconds to load, and is faster than 63% of the websites around the world. Another big issue is the lack of an easily accessible online payment system.(credit card) . It's v difficult for an e-commerce merchant 2apply for a credit card transaction service to include in their website...

Thanks for your support and advise. Do you all guy know which website is for people to post,sell, or may be auction for items? as I know lelong.com is one of the website but is there any other website available?

other then this,you pay post your item at forum, such as lowyat.net and cari.com

Ebay M'sia system r very basic in structure. It’s still less popular than Lelong.com.my
