Os-commerce probably provides decent shopping carts and payment solutions for free. But to all the stores owners out there, what payment system do you use or would rather provide if your target audience is local based?
Is there any reputable companies that provide payment gateways with low set-up cost and transaction fees? No problem with Maybank2u, but what about Visa or Credit cards payments if you simply dont have a merchant?
i have search it before..
on the online payment gateway there is 2 type.. first you paid the service for 1 year service.. or you paid them for every transaction.
you can check it by search in google..
does ipay support my own custom e-commerce website (meaning - i coded the whole site). i don't use templates such as oscommerce, coz the site is an e-gold selling site for a client. needed a custom specification with all the commission-based system and referral stuff requested by the client.
or is there any other payment gateway that you can suggest to me?
Paypal is working great for us, except we see a lot of failed transactions from Malaysians not going all the way through the payment process. Maybe that's because the payment isn't in Ringgit, when their shopping cart is. We don't get failed transactions from overseas customers at all.
Our malaysian customers mostly use payment at a bank branch or by maybank2u. We haven't set up as a m2u merchant yet, not sure it's worth it since customers seem happy with copying and pasting the account number and total!
