Wire Transfer : 2Co

Hi guys,

I have changed my payment mode in 2CO to wire transfer.. becoz clearing a US check takes tooOOoOOo long..

I have a question to ask those who use 2CO wire payment.. since there is no ringgit currency in the wire mode.. did you guys choose Singapore dollar as the wire currency ? can i actually choose other currency like AUS$ and etc ?

Besides of $5 charges, what else i need to pay for the wire ? does local bank charge us any fees ?

please advise.

They will deduct the wire fees from your account.

The amount remit in will be in USD and your bank will buy it into Ringgit Malaysia (USD x 3.75)

Be sure you have the correct Bank Swift code. You may want to send a ticket to ask for it's progress. How long have you waited?

Hi Filuren,

I have set the wire transfer currency as Singapore dollar instead of USD... should be okay right ?

if i select USD, the fees seem a little bit high.. besides, i couldn't get the corresponding bank info in New York that they need if i wanna wire transfer in USD.

please advise.

I am using Hong Leong Bank.. they said they do not have any corresponding bank in new york,,, so what i did is remit my money by using wire transfer mode in Singapore Dollar to my local bank account..

is it they will only charge me $USD5 for the wired and they will convert $USD to $SGD then local bank will convert $SGD to RM for me right ?

is there any other extra charge in between ? by the way, is this how most malaysian do when they want the money to be wired to local bank account (except maybank)

please advise.

p.s: wired fee in USD seems a lot higher than other currency... it is USD20 and other currency is only USD5... why you guys still opt for USD wired ? i am very new to e-commerce, hope to get more idea about this from all of you..

thanks..

Maybank doesn't have branch in USA but they have banking partners or 'network' to remit money internationally Maybank & BCB have some of the best banking "network" to remit in money to everywhere.

We can't expect wire fees in USA are cheaper than in Malaysia. RM30 wire fees charged by most bank in Malaysia are considered cheap.

Bank wire is the fatest and cheapest way. Unless you want to take Western Union which is another alternative.

Wire Transfer (American English) is the same as Telegraphic Transfer (British English)

No we don't. We wanted to setup a datacentre with CDC and was quoted by TMNet that will bill us RM190,000 for 2mbps (If I don't listen to it wrongly) The only business datacentre in Sarawak is CDC
