warning guys! better stay away!

you are lucky to use the account now, but when there is problem and your account gets blocked, there's where the nightmare starts! my account was blocked for no reason twice a month.

i'm doing web design and i used it just because my customer want's to use the service, so i signed up and send a USD20 over to my customer so that he can get the ikard.

the moment i complete the transfer, my account and my customer's account was immediately blocked!

we have send over our required documents by email and ikobo just reply saying they can not serve us with no reasons given at all. we then replied the email to limits@ikobo.net explaining what we are doing on 23/11, and there was nothing heard from ikobo till now.

i have a few times trying to get this problem to the online chat staffs, they just tell you they can't do anything and give you emails to contact and those emails are not replied!

furthermore, the online staff service is the worst i ever met. they just give you the email and then say a thank you then they will just disconnect you from the chat leaving you lost and helpless.

just imagine, $20 is a small amount, but if ikobo does this to 1000 customers, how much are they holding ? this is a real scam!

also just do a simple search online and you will find tons of pages sharing the ugly service ikobo is providing.

i have went to http://www.atlanta.bbb.org/commonre...?compid=7000398 and got an email address avalera@ikobo.net which is stated as their Customer Relations officer. but even sending my problem to this email address also i did not even get any reply from ikobo

so for you who is still having the good service, congrats, and i wish you good luck. for those who are considering, please think over a thousand times first.

maybe u can let them know if they do not answer your mails...
u will complaint to verisign...hehehehee
they might panick...

but their verisign lisences ends on the 18th ....just few more days.....
this will be a bad time for them if u were to complaint...hahahah.....

well verisign is just a SSL service certifiying that the details we are sending to is a valid company.

but hey, it's a good idea. i'll do it and see what happens

nah, i say verisign is just interested in $$$ lah

as long as valid company then ok liao.

so it really make no sense to believe in such signs, anyone can open a lousy company & scam for money

i have no problem with ikobo so far

but it's strange why your account is blocked for no reason. did you accept the $20 by credit card?

i charged the $20 on my own visa card sending the money to my customer to help him get the ikard.

now both of us have our accounts blocked and no reason is given.

they just tell me ikobo can not serve the account.

but they r holding on to the money!!

I am a frequent ikobo user. transfering around AUD300 every month since last year. I've stop using ikobo in Jul/Aug because they had blocked my client's credit card (not my account). I left $8 inside.

I have scan my water bill and driving license to them before for higher limits. Try to e-mail them?

Ikobo is a family-business. That's one thing everyone doesn't know. They don't have employees to run this hence telephones are always answered in answering machine (unless they pick it up). The history was this family is migrating and find it hard to remit their money aboard. So they settle down and started Ikobo. I can be sure they have hundreds of emails a day, if you're expecting them to answer one by one.. that's a joke. I can't even answer 50 troubleshooting request by emails a day now without supporting tickets *sigh*
