Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum and I have several questions regarding PayPal.

I have some funds in my PayPal account and I would like to cash them in. It is my understanding that I can't withdraw the funds locally.

Well, I have a brother who's working in Singapore and has a Singaporean based bank account. My question is;

1. Can I send the funds to him (using the 'send money' function in PayPal)?

2. I understand he needs also to be registered with PayPal in order to receive the funds. Are there any limitations on the maximum amount I'm able to send to his PayPal account (assuming he has a verified PayPal account)?

3. Will he then, be able to withdraw the money from PayPal to his Singaporean based bank account & subsequently wire transfer the funds to me?

4. Any amount limitations for the withdrawal of the funds?

I would really appreciate any help here.

if you didn't enroll in the expanded use program, you can only send $100 max every month. not sure about limit on fund withdrawal, perhaps someone else can answer that

1. Yes, you can send to your brother but it will incur some PayPal fees.

2. Your brother still can't withdraw the money - you can only do it with banks in America.

Try selling it. I've bought $150 from a lowyat.net member at RM3.5 - of course I had to pay the transaction fees. <Please don't initiate e-currency transaction here>
