PayPal is the commonly used payment gateway system, but I have noticed that Xoom (http://www.xoom.com) is becoming quite popular, although it has not been widely used yet.

2Checkout. Authorize.net. Verisign. Linkpoint. Not sure whether they support Malaysian though.

Smile Payment Gateway for Malaysian - 07-05-2007, 05:58 PM

Its depend on what type of business your are and where is your customers? If your customers are from out of Malaysia, I guess PayPal, 2CO, Worldpay, Stormpay, Autorize.net still the best.

Received payment is not a problem BUT you need to take into consideration of withdraw the funds to Malaysian banks. That's really suck your $$$ and reduce your margin.

The best still have valid US bank account with debit card and link these payment gateway accounts to your valid bank account, you save alot on charges !!!

does any one here has any experience with Pay88? i'd like to be able to receive MYR so that I could start one or two true Malaysian e-commerce websites.
