Question International payment?

Anyone know how to accept international payments (preferably on the Internet)?

For example, let's say someone from another part of the world likes a shareware downloaded from my website and decided to purchase a license, then how can he pay me??

Thanks in advance...

maybe he prefer to pay by paypal .. but malaysia is not on their list

he can pay you by check ... most of malaysian bank accept us check. but it takes to long to validate ...

another solution is by credit card ... ok .. ask ks about this .. forgot abut ks reply message to about the same topic ...

If you're selling software or scripts, http://www.emetrix.com/ is excellent. They provide customized checkout pages and a bunch of other features. There is no setup fee, however they charge 13.9%-20% per sale.

You may consider these few options for accepting credit cards/US checks online, your funds will be wire-transfer to your local bank account or option for mailing a check to you :-

www.revecom.com
www.2checkout.com
www.planetpayment.com
www.worldpay.com

wire-transfer will cost roughly RM120-RM160 depending on the payment processor and RM2.00 charge from local bank for the transfer, while bank in a US/Canadian check in a local bank cost about RM0.20 processing fee.

A wire-transfer takes about a week to clear and a Canadian/US check typically takes about 4-8 weeks for clearance.

There's got to be a better way.

Any free service that allows you to accept credit card payment without a merchant account??? (besides PayPal)

Thumbs up International CC Processing

I had the same problem with you (try to accepting credit cards internationally) and found all the answers at merchant.secretary4hire.com. It was really fantastic. I got up and running accepting credit cards on my site in a day.

Many alternative available to suit your business types and believe it or not there is a free service that allows you to accept credit card payment without a merchant account.

We have used..

both worldPay and 2checkout.com. Would definitely recommend either one. But if you're starting out and dont want to spend to much then 2checkout.com is definitely worth a try (One time setup fee and no yearlys)

this one so far is pretty damn good for selling intangible items e.g. downloadable stuff

no charge to sign up..they handle all the backend stuff..and they processing rate is less than ibill, ccbill, regnow....

and pay out weekly...all country can join.

all the info about this cc processor is available in "Knowledge-is-Power" ...hehe link available from my profile meh...

I also got this problem.

Went to ask bank draft and it said up to 30 days to clear the cheque.

Ask wire transfer and it cost RM25, yeah right...

Anyone had any exp with escrow before?

I got a Paypal account but how do we transfer the money to Malaysia the fastest and cheapest way?

Any idea?

p/s How are we suppose to trade online if we can't even accept payment via online? And still people say we are too high tech..
