I suggest you use the auto responder from within your hosting control panel. I believe both cPanel and directadmin has. May i know what control panel you are using so as to advise you accordingly?

If you looking at using a auto responder for the long term, I suggest you go for a paid service, as this will give better control and you are sure to get a reliable service.

yes.don't make it a habit to always find for free service. i would suggest aweber or getresponse. personally i prefer getresponse as it is more affordable..

Hydroburn is right. There is a free autoresponder that comes with your webhosting. As with any type of software, if you have not used autoresponder before, then the free autoresponder that comes with your webhosting may be a good start before you graduate to paid service.
