as i known, rep power is 'reputation status'...after ppl find ur post v useful, then they may giv u a rep...

i thnk it is not calculated by number of ppl who give u rep..

if 1 ppl giv u a rep, then ur rep power will not neccessary increased by 1 but may b more than that like sometimes can be 20, 21,22....(stil under investigation)

i thnk there may not have certain rules...it is depends on the situation, how active u r and how long as a member ...pls correct me if mistaken..
