i'm university student.i'm always join this website to know more info about wifi.i have problem.i want to ask about my project assignment...and i as consultant will putting network related services such as the Internet and telephony for all the villages in Bario(SARAWAK),Bario is a rural place/area.but, i'm in confused to choose what type of wireless i want to use for implementation at the rural area in villages at Bario.refer the information given :

"Bario is a remote town that can only be accessible by small plane. It is situated 1000m above sea level and surrounded by mountains. There are around 10 villages in Bario and they are scatted apart for not more than 10km. In between villages, there are small hills and jungle. People in the villages rely on power generator for electricity and the only place that has got Internet connection is at the Telecenter which is located at the town center of Bario. The Internet connection is via satellite VSAT. "

Question :

1) i want to use wifi connection but it is the rural area, between villages, there are small hills and jungle.i thinks it's impossible to get high connection.if i want to use wifi? it's it ok?

2) my opinion,i think wimax is good for implement too.for wimax implementation, the cost budget is very high,use much money and i must to maintain the project budget. this is research study for implement wireless connection at the area. i'm not have experience and more information about implementation wimax.just have basic for it.

3) I want to use Telecenter as a base station. then, it can connect to every village by atenna(backhaul).every village have their own outdoor atenna(backhaul) and i suggest 1 village have 1 outdoor access point to connect each house.assume that each house is near.if i use indoor acess point i thinks they will receive low internet coverage and a lot of access point will be use. it's is ok?

4)if have any experience in implementation wifi..have u have any proposal to share with me as reference?if not it's ok.
