Thread: Webmaster Malaysia Next Gathering at June 2008

Dear members,

We are planning to do a gathering on June 2008 (it's been a while since we did it last time..hmm). But first, as a community, we need feedback from you guys:

1)Where do you think it would be a better place?

2)And, what activities (be different!) would you expect?

Looking for your feedback

1. Other than KL and Penang, where else can it be held leh? :P if last time's place is good then probably can remain as where it was held last time

2. mostly ppl who will be attend nowadays i believe is want to know more about how to monetize their site/blog, so seminar/talk is sure a must wan loh...other than that, mayb we can have something like Ads Exchange rather than link exchange?

how bout some real party that doesnt related with any webmaster stuff at all? could be fun...maybe like party buih or sumtin

its either in kl or penang, thats the majority member in WMM

Previously the gathering was organize at penang around OCT07, then organize in KL at DEC if i am not mistaken. If this gathering organize at Penang, should be resonable... I will suggest at the place where more people can attend

We will definitely organize in all the places where more than 30 ppl willing to participate. So KL and PG cannot run away liao

Ummm, making it a party doesn't sound a bad idea at all. Any more idea on how should we be doing this?

actually penang is ok for us, but please make it someday like sat, so tat we can the time to travel, i remembered last time the one which held on penang was on Fri night right? which i think is a bit inconvenient

If is a party then have it on night, i really dun mind penang and since calvyn say there should b a place he suggest more ppl can attend?

Possible at Saturday nite, and important to have a ice breaking game before any thing start. and remember to have group photo before dismiss

Just my humble opinion.
seems that we have webmaster around malaysia why don't we go separated on the gathering.

What i mean is sarawak members will have their own gath in kuching , same goes to Kl or penang.. cause it's too far for sarawakian and sabahan

a party can be good, also maybe...

can have a section whereby some of the webmaster who wish to have their hard build system or website to be known can have a chance to step up and promote it officially on stage. So that their hard work on the website and their ideas won't be buried and wasted after a long hard work

Yo, catch this news quite late since very busy. I will be move to kuantan this month, go where also no different. I give 1 vote for kl since more nearer to kuantan. And I support calvyn idea on ice breaking, a MUST for gathering since no body know each other yet. I also long time no contact my friend like wingnp and yipguseng,never meet with him (yipguseng) yet.

Anyway, I will go penang on 6 april, hope you guys in penang can be meet up
