I agree.
Just the same as I can buy beer cheaper if I buy 'duty not paid'... I can take dadah if I pay the dealer... I can get enormous interest rates if I become an 'ah long'... I have no choice but to do those things, if I want those results. Same with paypal, if you want the paypal you have no choice but to break the law and engage in illegal currency exchange activities. If something is illegal, it means you cannot do it... not that you should do it at your own risk or that you should do it anyway because you have no choice! Well... that's my view - and I hope that the owner of the forum will listen carefully and take a strict view to illegal advertisments here.

em...i not sure wether ist related to trading our RM issue, just to share some of my knowledge, if i am wrong, pls correct me..
for my understanding, our RM are not allow to trade out our country. example: if i bring alot of RM out from Malaysia and exchange at foreigner country are consider illegal. the law is we cannot bring certain amount of RM out from country, i not sure how much is the amount! if we wan to bring the money out for business, we have to change to USD with legal money changer in malaysia 1st, then bring the USD out from malaysia! quite some time ago i have a friend wanna to bring over 20K MYR out from malaysia to korea, i told him this is illegal, after we check it out, it is illegal to bring so much RM out from malaysia, if change to USD then nvm! so he just change to USD and bring out successful! May be the trade of pay pal fund also hv related to the money exchange issue! so pay pal are not allow in malaysia, same to lot of internet investment company, all are using USD, malaysia bank are not allow to cash out..have to do it at singapore!

We have come to a conclusion on PayPal selling/buying topic.
"Better safe than sorry". Unlicensed money exchange is clearly an illegal activity in Malaysia, and if we condoned it in this forum, that would really put us into risk. Thanks Vince for bringing this up. I will put up a further notice about this issue. |

used to be USD 10K when MYR was first got pegged if i remember correctly. Not sure now. And you're right, our MYR is worthless outside Malaysia.
