Is the membership such a high proportion chinese that the place becomes so empty at CNY?

well, if is really so..then i think after CNY should b bak to normal i presume...

But even before CNY is also not much difference here. If this place more lively and more serious internet entrepreuner than I would surely visit more often. Membership is actually high (for a local forum) but most members except for the regulars and the well known ones are probably....

1) dont have website
2) dont know anything (just heard internet can make money, from friends)
3) hoping to promote affiliate link

Is this the real case or just my observation?

I really wish this forum more busy and lively.

Remember that people don't need to sign up just to read... so all the members must have had some idea of posting at some time (?)

coolio: this forum is actually been here for quite sometimes, how was it for the pass few years i m not sure, but now frankly speaking really is quite silent,of course the traffic are still there as many just pass by, silently read and learning (mayb), plus there are quite a number of members whom just register and mayb leave 1 or 2 messages and nvr been back here unless for some special occasion or request. So is really up to the current active users to make the noise here, as limcs said, some good discussion thread would b helpful. The Webmaster Malaysia Website Award did really brought back some of the "long-lost members" anyway

I know, I see only few members online and 100+ "guests" most of the time, at any given time...now what could be the reason? Everyday got many new people sign up, but I and you will never see their posts...Do they even post?

The ones making noise here always are the same people, and I know who are the ones already

as vince3x had mentioned above, ppl do not have to sign up to read the post in the forum, 100+ "guests" possibly there are really that many of annoymous that are browsing the forum and tat could explain the high traffic rank.

new ppl signing up everyday for what reason that only God knows...lolz

From there - pick a username... and see the link to site.

I suggest the Admin disable the members list for all but logged in members, or hide the website field until you have 100 posts.

hmmm...i guess those who click on the username and visit their site from there really is somebody who is really damn free, lol...unless is the crawler which does it....
